Troubleshoot: Universal TV Remote

iOS:
Please ensure your mobile device and smart TV or stick are connected to the same wifi network.
For iOS users, please ensure you have allowed local network permission in Settings, enabling the App to search for your smart TV or stick.
Try to reboot your smart TV or stick, the app, and the wifi network.
Try to re-download the app.


Android:
Please ensure your mobile device and smart TV or stick are connected to the same wifi network.
Try to reboot your smart TV or stick, the app, and the wifi network.
Try to re-download the app.

iOS:
Samsung
For Samsung TVs manufactured after 2016, when you click to connect the device for the first time, your Samsung TV will ask whether it should accept incoming connections.
Select "Allow" and the TV Remote from your phone to your Samsung TV will start.
For devices produced in/before 2015, when connecting for the first time, you need to enter the PIN code displayed on the TV to pair the application with your TV device, and the PIN code is valid for 120s.
Turn off your TV, then turn it on and reconnect.
If still can not connect, please Contact Us and tell us your device model.

LG
When you click to connect the device for the first time, you need to pair the application with your LG TV by entering the PIN code displayed on the TV.
Turn off your TV, then turn it on and reconnect.
If still can not connect, please Contact Us and tell us your device model.

Roku
Turn off your TV, then turn it on and reconnect.
If still can not connect, please Contact Us and tell us your device model.

Fire TV

When you click to connect the device for the first time, you need to pair the application with your Fire TV by entering the PIN code displayed on the TV.

Vizio

When you click to connect the device for the first time, you need to pair the application with your Sony TV by entering the PIN code displayed on the TV.

<p>All Samsung smart TVs have a TV control button that allows you to turn on your TV and adjust the volume. You can find this button by selecting your device at this link and viewing the <a href="https://www.samsung.com/ph/support/tv-audio-video/how-to-control-a-samsung-tv-without-a-remote/">user manual</a>.<br>

Click on the device within the app, an authorization prompt will appear on your Samsung smart TV.<br>

Click on the TV control button (power button), the match will be successful.</p>

Try to do this on your Samsung smart TV: Go to Settings —>General—>External Device Manager—>Device Connection Manager—>Device List—>Select the mobile device you have rejected—>Change this permission to "Allow"

After doing step 1, try to connect again on the app.

Please ensure your mobile device and Fire TV or Fire Stick are connected to the same wifi network.


How to turn on ADB debugging option: Try to do this on your Fire TV or Fire Stick, Go to Settings —> My Fire TV —> Developer options —> Enable ADB debugging.

What should I do if I can't find the ADB debugging option: Try to do this on your Fire TV or Fire Stick, Go to Settings —> My Fire TV —> About —> Select "Fire Stick" and click on this button 7 times —> Back to "My Fire TV" —> Developer options —> Enable ADB debugging.

Try to reboot your smart TV or stick, the app, and the wifi network.

Try to re-download the app.

There are too many devices on the list.


Go to Settings on TV -> Network -> Home Network Step -> Renderer -> Renderer Access Control -> Custom Settings -> Delete All, then you can start to cast media.

Some apps, channels, and websites are protected by copyright and you can't mirror their videos.

DRM (Data Rights Management) videos like Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, DirectTV, Xfinity, HBO, Disney+, iTunes Movies, and Apple TV can't be mirrored to your smart TV or stick. When you try to mirror them, there may be a display error.

Please ensure you have allowed access to your local content like photos and videos in Settings.

Try to reboot your smart TV or stick, the app, and the wifi network.

Try to re-download the app.

How to restore my subscription: Please click on "Restore" on the Pro page.

How to resubscribe after canceling: Choose the type of subscription service on the Pro page to resubscribe.

How to cancel my subscription: Click on "Subscriptions" in Settings. Select the app subscription service and cancel it.
